The Atlantic isn’t known for being a voice on the right, and those who say they are a moderate publication are lying. They are simply another liberal news outlet trying in every way to suppress conservative voices.
In a news article first published by TheWrap, conservative writer Kevin Williamson was let go from The Atlantic by the news site’s editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg, saying that The Atlantic was “not the best fit for [Williamson’s] talents.”
“So we are parting ways,” Goldberg concluded in the email to his colleagues.
The reason for Williamson’s firing was his thoughts on capital punishment and abortion rights, sharing his views on a National Review podcast.
What struck The Atlantic as alarming was his quick conclusion that abortion should be treated as a “regular homicide under the criminal code,” saying he was “absolutely willing to see this happen.
